Our Farm & Forest Guides
At Little Sprouts Farm and Forest School, our programs are led by passionate educators who bring the natural world to life for children of all ages.

Our guides each bring their unique background and expertise to our programs, whether tending our garden beds, introducing children to farm animals, leading forest explorations, or teaching sustainable living practices. They are committed to fostering curiosity, resilience, and a deep appreciation for nature in every child who visits our farm.

Our Guides prioritize safety while encouraging appropriate risk-taking and discovery, helping children develop confidence in outdoor settings. They create environments where learning happens naturally through play, observation, and hands-on experiences with plants, animals, and the changing seasons.
Get to know the dedicated individuals who make our Farm and Forest School a magical place for children to learn and grow:
Zoe
Zoe is the Lead Teacher at Plucky Palomino’s Farm and Forest School. Her interest in farming blossomed during her years in high school as her parents started a small vegetable and fiber farm, leading her to pursue a degree in agriculture at the Evergreen State College. Zoe also spent a year immersed in nature connection through Wilderness Awareness School’s Immersion program, creating a deep love and passion for exploring the natural world. In addition she spent two summers working at Camp Nor’wester as a camp counselor and garden instructor, which allowed her to share her passions in both gardening and outdoor education with children of a variety of ages. Working at a farm and forest school felt like the perfect way to continue sharing her passions and inspiring others. Zoe is especially excited about bringing art and creativity into the garden and nature spaces, and can commonly be found crocheting, needle felting, or creating collages in her spare time outside of teaching.

Gabi
Gabi brings compassion to her role as an Assistant Teacher at Plucky Palomino’s Farm and Forest School. With her background in biology, environmental studies, and child engagement, she fosters a love for nature and learning in young minds. Growing up in the Snoqualmie Valley area had established her appreciation for the wonders of the environment and she continues to encourage others to hold the same curiosity. For her, motivating and contributing to the growth of individuals is fulfilling. She is always excited to bring a fun, hands-on experience to outdoor activities. Gabi especially enjoys engaging young learners with the importance of caring for the farm animals. She values the impact of creating meaningful connections with nature. Outside of teaching, you can find Gabi going on nature walks, tending to her plants, or playing with her dog, Mater (named after Tow Mater from the Cars movies).
